idel speed

can someone tell me what the idle speed is on the cummins 24 valve, 2000 auto in neutral and in drive. installed ez this week and i'm sure it's in my head, but I think it idling faster than it use to. Can I just unhook the map sensor and plug the stock map back in to see,or do I have to unplug the map and data link at the same time, either way it's no big deal thanks Don

I believe the idle speed is 850 rpm in neutral, in drive you would loose about 50 rpm. I would just unhook the EZ and put it back like stock if you need to check it.
