Help please to identify these 3 wires. They are located just a couple of inches aft of the spare tire and come out of a wire bundle that also has wires going to the right license plate light and also to the right tail light area. Here's a photo:

No Aux switches. No bed lights. I do have oem 5th setup that includes the double plug on the bumper, but that's a different wire bundle.

Those are power wires, So My guess , it was for the Auxiliary switch to power bed or pulled unit, Its just a guess, I would check the schematics to verify

jetmechabq: Thanks. Looks like it is likely the three wires in the middle of the video: battery, ignition, and brake. Video does say the these wires are only found on pickups with the optional aux switch package; I do not have that option.

True but your model year maybe different or they had to use that harness on your truck for some shortage reason for example.

Could it be wiring for adding a canopy?

That’s what I was thinking. The guys who put my canopy on said there was factory wiring for connecting the third brake light up on the canopy. It’s law in Canada, so the wiring has to be there to accommodate this connection.
