Identity Security System - problems with removal

My truck is equipped with what is called the Identity "Personal Recognition System". It is a security system that defeats the ignition system. It was installed as a dealer option at purchase time (I am the second owner), and it is wired inline into the ignition system. It works with a FOB that requires it button to be pressed before every start to deactivate the ignition defeat and allow the ignition to engage and crank the starter. After a certain number of starts it will "remember" that specific FOB and won't require the FOB button push everytime, only from time to time thereafter.

I want to have it removed but the company is reluctant to provide removal instructions or support.

Does anyone have any experience with this system and advise?

Possibly they wouldn't be as reluctant to provide INSTALLATION instructions. Then you could reverse the process

Go back the the selling dealer and demand removal. Is the truck still financed? Sometimes these are on request of the finance company and have the ability to disable the truck remotely! SNOKING
