Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Idle Adjustment

How do you adjust the idle on a 2001. 5 HO? The SM warns several places "DO NOT TURN THE ADJUSTMENT SCREWS etc... as it will destroy the calibration of the APPS. " However isn't there a way to set the idle up just a little?

Idle speed is fixed by the ECM.
