Darel,

The adjustment is pretty easy except you have to do it by feel. You need two tools: 10mm wrench and a screw driver. On the back of the pump is a screw that is verticle. It is the idle stop. It is held in place by a lock nut. Loosen the lock nut and turn the screw in or out until the idle is where you want it. Tighten the lock nut and recheck to make sure the idle didn't change when you tightened the nut. The screw driver is used in the linkage assembly where the cables pull the linkage. Use it to jam the throttle so that it's not at idle so the pressure is off the idle screw. Remove the screw driver to check. With no pressure on the screw you can turn it with your fingers. Otherwise it's kind of a PITA because you can't see what you are doing.

Do a search. There was a thread with a diagram showing the adjustment bolt. Helps to know what you are looking for (that you can't see anyway:D )
