Also, the idle adjustment bolt gets worn, and it make the adjustment a little bit unpredictable. You turn it a bit to raise it, and the idle goes up. You want just a little bit more, turn it some more and the idle drops again.
Don't get frustrated. You have a couple of choices.
Keep playing with it.
Remove the bolt and flatten the end of it with a file.
Replace the bolt.
I usually choose option 1 or 2 depending on how careful I feel like being.
