Idle at start up?

When I first start my truck up it idles real low around 300 rpm. If I give some gas and get going it will idle around 500 but thats it. I am wondering if my idle is too low and with the engine cold it doesn't want to spin the oil as fast? Its a manual. Its summer in Utah so its not cold. (knock on wood)



How do I adjust my idle up? I am wondering if this is a good excuse to go with a 300 GSK kit
