I was told this is normal for the DC's with manual transmission's, but my question is why?
I'm driving down the road and the stop light changes red. I downshift just like normal, coming to a stop. When I disengage the clutch, the rpm's drop down to about 500 then bounce back to 800-850. The rpm's then return to the normal 750 and stay there until engaging the clutch again to drive.
The engine does sound like it lugs a little when it hit's the 500 area. Why does the engine idle bounce like it does?
