I read on the Ford site a topic about using the cruise control on the '03 and new trucks to idle up the engine.
The post said something like with the truck in P or N, you could turn on the cruise control and use the speed up/down buttons to adjust the idle speed. Supposedly you'd have to have your truck re-flashed for this.
Is it true? And would this work on the 24V trucks? Oooooh I hope so. I love the way the big diesel RV pushers can rev their engines up by foot, and set the cruise control and it holds their rpms where their foot took it, until they hit the brake or throttle. That's too smooth.
