2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission idle dying?

sometimes in the mornings, i will start my truck and put it in reverse and when i stop to shift into drive, it will die. could timing be the cause of this? i haven't adjusted it since i did my engine mods (see signature), should i have adjusted it? i recently adjusted the valves so i dont think its from that. any help would be great. thanks in advance.

You're idle is probably too slow. Set it to 850-950 and you won't have any more trouble.
