I know this has been covered but I can't seem to find it back. Is there a fix for the engine pulling down to approx. 600 rpms when you depress the clutch while coming to a stop? It is very annoying and I would like to fix it.

TIA

I keep thinking that mine has quit doing the same thing. The first time I drove it after the latest reflash, it didn't seem like it was doing so I thought I was set. However after driving it longer, it still does the same thing. I love this truck as it gets great mileage, has great power, and will seat the whole family and is the best of the 3 Dodge Cummins I have owned over the years. That being said, this fluctuating idle is annoying. I notice it's more pronounced with the AC on and the longer it is driven seems to make it more noticeable. When I took my truck in for the reflash last week, I had them look at it but they said they didn't notice it. I'm gonna have to take them for a ride so they can see what I'm talking about. Have either of you guys had your truck to the dealer for this problem? The diesel service agent said there is a fuel control unit that might be bad if the reflash didn't work, so I guess that is what I"m looking at. If you guys get a fix for this, let me know will ya?

Thanks,

Pat
