Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Idle speed ?

Hiya ! This my first post so lets be gentle. I have spent the last couple days searching and searching like most newbies. I just purchased my truck 3 weeks ago. Been wanting one for ages. I bought with 243K miles on her. I wanted one that JUST got broke in, hee heehee ! Anyways, i have already straight piped her, yeah baby YEAHHHH ! and ping went the silencer ring too ! But here's the question at hand. She has a high idle i do believe. The tach is one little bar under 1K. If this is hidle can i just idle her down by a screw ? I read somewhere not to do it that way.

these things are pretty much unadjustable--so don't do it--your truck is fine--chris
