Ok,
I've searched but cannot figure out if it's safe to leave my truck idle for 20-40 minutes at a time if I have a pacbrake installed.
Will the warm up feature keep the fuel from washing down the cylinders and thinning the oil? I think I read it keeps temps between 170 and 180 deg. I would think it would work since it puts a load on the engine and keeps the temps up.
Of course I would have a cold front installed also. I need a warm truck to hop into w/ the long winters.
I was looking at the espar but haven't looked for a price yet, and it seems more complicated to install.
One more ? Anyone know if the dealer can tell I had an E-brake installed if I take it off before any dealer work? I know they aren't approved on the auto's but at the current time I won't need the e-brake at all for it's intended purpose, just for warming duties, but if anyone reading this knows, is there anything needed to watch out for or special to do using the e-brake on an auto?
