if wrong key will truck start?

I bought truck recently if a black key is used in ignition what symptoms will truck experience? ECM Should it have a grey chip key? 2005 dodge ram 2500 4x4 manual transmission

The skim key was optional in 05,if it is equipped with the skim system and a black key is used it will start and stall and set a dtc

My '03 is equipped with the SKIM system. Inadvertently using the black key will start the engine for only a few seconds then it will shut off. Don't ask why I know this... an embarrassing moment after a call for a tow.
