need help on a 06 liberty CRD fuel problem

Homebrew fuel bypass and regulator valves

output shaft... ... well I had that problem for 150,000 miles in that I could not stop the transfer case from having a slight amount of oil dripping off the driveshaft slip yoke seal. I replaced 3-4 of them and it still leaked a little bit. It was driving me crazy until Robert at Source Automotive, thought it may be the center seal in the slip yoke. If you look at the picture - (this is not from the Dodge-but the same idea) you will see what looks like a softplug. I'll be darned but SURE ENOUGH that POS was leaking!!! Had to pound it out, thoroughly clean it up and reinstall with a 2 part epoxy (all recommended by Driveline Services here in Portland). The factory slightly crimps the yoke to the seal - I might add it is a challenging thing to get it out. The epoxy had to sit 24 hours..... BUT THAT SOLVED IT!!!!! So - if you to have a leak - check this out as a cause!!!!! Thanks Robert .....

:-laf Chrysler products have been doing that for ever. We used to use brass in the old days. Now there are are all types of chemical solutions... .....

I just epoxied my yoke up yesterday with some JB Weld. The U-joints I replaced were still serviceable after 303k miles! While the xfer case output seal was not leaking I replaced it with a new, properly hooded, seal.
