If I found the bottle with the magic DC genie in it I would wish for them to come out with a Dakota with the 4bt in it, main objective going towards economy and emmissions. I think the combination Dodge/Cummins has proven to be paramount towards the development of ultimate towing/hauling vehicles with very respectable economy to boot, a reputation that Ford and Chevy have coppied for more than their share of the market. I truely believe the Dakota/Durango vehicles coupled up to the Cummins would be a much sought after vehicle for consumers and be freindly to our precious enviorment let alone help cut down on future fuel usage.

I could list many fine "gotta have" options, 19. 5 wheels, 10-spd roadranger and the like but being more realistic I'd settle for a truck being designed, tested and DEBUGGED before shipping them. It's the little things, lift pumps, trackbars, crankcase overflow and such. Just think of the money they could save on warranty work and TSB's.

Even better here we are a group of dedicated Cummins/Dodge drivers and fanatics. We use these mighty CTD's for everything from Soccer Mom's to 5th wheels to obscene monster cargo and flatbeds. Why not work with the us, the TDR folks, send a "survey" out in the magazine of "what we want" and "what we don't want" in our trucks before the next version comes out.

Anybody else looking for a Dodge 4500 or 5500 or just me? I know they have them in Mexico they should be here as well.

An automatic transmission that would not require Cummins to "detune" the 5. 9 to an anemic level so the drivetrain wouldn't self-destruct.

Right on! Oo.

A FULL set of gauges, some nice "get out of my space" horns, E-Brake standard with tow package, and dump the Germans.

Just build my 04 Ram that is on order this year! Without EGR. There is a mounting number of us now with orders placed that have gone into long term hold or stuck in BX status. With all the holidays coming they are cycle counting out to end of year builds and planning for engine change overs to EGR. Sure hope they get it build this year, and I ordered it on Sept 25th.

A stainless steel body panel option so that our trucks won't look like a rotted piece of CRAP at 250,000 miles (at least in Michigan), or some sort of electronic anti-rust system option..... mines got 50K, and I'm seeing rust already on the door panels.

You pay the money to buy a truck that lasts, it should look decent too.....

A Rust Free Undercarriage

What a pain to buy a new truck and have 1/3 or it's undercarriage rust riddled, and what a pain to fix it.

Just not a good thing. :)
