I have noticed that the Scotts tt is changing there formula and going softer, more user friendly. there is still the multi roll backs on the self, not many singles, if any. it appears the stores are selling off the old stock, so if you use it in your FRANTZ filter, better stock up now while you can.

Thanks for the heads up Marv - I had noticed that as well, have no idea what that change might do the the performance of the Scotts - but will make it a point to lay in a supply.

I'm also about to start a test run and comparison oil analysis using the TP cartridges Frantz sells to see if it filters any better than the Scotts - it might be that the Frantz cartridges are better from both the performance AND construction basis if the new Scott stuff switches to a poorer formula.

You should still be able to go the warehouses and by them by the cases as many business still do. Probably only household TP is going multiply. The commercial will still be single. At least heres hoping thats how its going to go.

Gary:

Your test should every bit as good, maybe better than the scotts. I think the way you have your set up with the extra media in there, it helps. I have used the Frantz filter, in my book a little pricy but they are firm and just slid in the housing. The single roll scotts [1 1/2" tube] does the same on the tube, I like the fit. We stayed at a Travelodge motel and the TT rolls would do and exelent job for the for the filter. Very firm. WD you are right,The paper wherehouses suppliers is the place to go for the cases.
