I know this topic has been beat to death... but, heres what I found:
I pulled the bottom steering wheel shroud off and found a 4 pin connector with 2 wires on the forward part of the halo, a black/orange and a blue wire.
I removed the connector from the BLACK halo and found that I have 12vdc at all times, key in, key out, door open, door shut... i even waited 15min inside my truck and checked the voltage. 12vdc all the time! i did NOT follow the wires into the loom.
Also, what is small plastic box tie-wrapped to metal frame underneath center, front seat?
BTW my truck is Canadian
Sounds wacky to me
