ignition switch problems

I have a 2003 slt 3500 quad cab recently the ignition switch got hard to move back to acc. then I noticed with the ignition in the off position the blower motor to the hvac still stays running ,radio gauges all turn off in ideas would help thanks

If the gear shift level is working correctly, its probably the Key cylinder,its a little tricky to tear down. The PDF exceeds (167KB) the allowable amount to Post, PM your Email I will send it (15 pages PDF)

I'm having the same issue. It's really starting to get to me because I always have to check and see if I turned the heater off. Otherwise I end up with a dead truck in the morning. Can you send that to me also -- email address removed --

I emailed the tear down to you I hope to do mine next weekend let you know what I find

took the colum apart and put a new ingnition switch in and fixed all the problems switch was 28 dollars and took about an hour
