This is gonna sound so stupid but... ..... Where is this ignition switch harness that I need to find for my BD Cooldown timer? Without tearing down the whole column, I thought I would ask?

The install instructions tell you what wires to pierce but not where the friggin' switch is... ... . I am sure it is elementary to a lot of you.

Any help would be appreciated... .

The ignition wire that keeps the engine running is the fat blue wire that you will see when you remove the knee bolster and look at the bunch of wires running down the steering column. I just tapped the same one for my Hewitt timer. The manual calls it dark blue but it is more of a royal blue, solid, no stripes and larger than the others. You can test it first to be sure with a light probe that you can pierce the insulation with. Turn the ignition on and check for the light, then turn off. I don't know what the BD instructions say but I don't see the need to get to the switch itself.
