If you are referring to the one that I think that you are, it was in truck trend recently. It was a medium duty truck with 4wd and a pickup box. It looked pretty cool to me, just too bad that I can't justify it yet.

Yeah the IH in the last issue of Truck Trend was quite the truck. Imagine a pick-up with a GVW of 33,000#. That's probably one of the only pick-ups requiring a CDL. Now I need to figure a way to justify the $68k price tag. Would be a great excuse to get the CDL that I always thought would be nice to have.

1 ton crew cab

Hey guy's this is a little bit off topic but since IH pickup's were brought up I thought I would ask. Does any body know where you can find old IH pickup parts at,my buddy has a late 60 to early 70 1 ton crew cab pick up but parts are about impossible to find . Thank's in advance for any help

Was that what that was , a IHC pick up . How did yall like that IHC bed that was on it -------- I mean that Ford one ton bed . I think the Chevy looks much better . Hey Blue Ox 1 , get on ebay and type in International Harvester . You can find parts over there.

This month's Truck Trend has an article on the forthcoming IH pickup. It's just a 4-door International with an F-350 bed on it. It has a DT466 (7. 3 Powerstroke?). Can be up to 70,000 GCWR if you have a CDL, or derated to Class 5 so no CDL is needed. Get this: 540 torque and roughly 250 hp. Not sure what the gear ratios are, but those numbers seem low for such a large truck.

The 466 is an inline 6. The 7. 3 PS is the 444. Torque seems low for that size of engine.

just looked on the navistar website for some engine specs for that dt466 engine. it's hp is avalable from 195hp - 250hp & 520tq - 660tq... that engine has wet liners... navistar dt466 web page
