Competition Streetable Clutch???? SBC DD

Competition turbo comparison

Anyone have any info. on this charger? I saw it listed on a vendor's site and emailed II about it Wed. Haven't heard anything back from them, I know they're busy.

I've ran one a single charger

as a single w/nitrous

and as a small charger in BIG twins.

The K31 has a 71mm inducer agressive trim billet compressor wheel.

It flows more air than a HT3B.

Can be had with different exhaust housings.

It is prone to compressor surge. (Just look at the size of the compressor in relation to exhaust)

And all in all is a mean charger. It does have downsides, but the benefit outweighs the loss.

The one in this pic has the . 87 AR exhaust housing on it. (It's the charger on the right for those who haven't seen one before. )

This picture is a little unfair for the K31 because the charger to its left is signifigantly larger thatn a Big Brother, and because of that it eclipses the K31.

Check this thread.

So did you get any time on the dyno with those combinations? How were the street maners?

Jonathan ;)

i have had one on for a few hundred miles. i have middle ex. hgs surges quite a bit under light load. not towing just driving. waiting for Shane to send the bigger hgs. it seems to make a lot of power.

with the k31 were making a little over 800HP w/ our stage 1 cp3 and we are finding that theres more to be had. were also playing with other big singles and twin combo's. :-laf

Glad to hear you made 800+ with the K31.

Are the other singles derivitives and are you using it in the twins?

Or are you just talking about your pump again?

You know a dyno sheet would be nice.

I've been hearing all of these numbers from Diesel Power "800" "1000" etc...

You know as soon as I read DP's reply I immediately saw ADVERTISEMENT go ding ding ding in big read letters flash across my screen.

These are threads that have all been or have tried to be turned into ads. (This is just in February) (There were more but they weren't as blatant)

the 800+ was with meth injection, no i wasent talking about the pump but the stage 1 was in early stages of development at the time we now use the silver bullet and are getting better results, when we release the pumps the flow charts and the dyno #'s will flood the screen of your computer. then you guys wont have anything to say but, i want one!!!!!!! and how much power your now making, i guess i shouldent have replied to this thread, i was just stating how much power is possible with this K31, but you guys allready knew that huh!!! sorry for the hijack.
