I bought my wife a new black Toyota Tundra Limited quad cab 4WD with tan leather. It's NICE!

Couldn't talk her out of it , huh? Well, keep us updated on how it does. As far as keeping your first gen, you're probably better off. Heck, you finally are getting it set up with all the goodies and you have one nice truck.

I took all the Toyota badging and decals off and substituted Lexus badges. I'm causing problems for the Lexus dealers as people are coming in and asking about the new Lexus trucks. But I'm keeping my 89 Cummins for heavy hauling and camping!

I think the Vette's mad. Tried to drive it yesterday and the battery was stone dead, and Optima at that! Vette's been sitting in the garage for three weeks, ever since we got the Tundra. Guess I'd better hook up that little battery maintainer that I got for the Harley! I think the RAM's mad too; the belt tensioner loosened up and started eating the fins on the alternator. I had to use the Tundra for towing. Man what a difference; I'm DEFINITELY keeping the RAM for towing and for my Lance camper. The Tundra is nice, but it's STILL only a half ton truck!
