not that that's so important to you.

remember, i bought an 04 psd.

i started "jones'in"... ... .

i bought another 96.

i feel much better now.

i can tell you that the new trucks ride no better than the older ones and the 12V's are MUCH more reliable !!!!

What a relief! We were thinking a bunch of us might have to get together and come to your house to do an "intervention".

yep, i still have the psd. nice power. 9kmi. just came out of the shop with a new a/c evaporator. idles rough (they can't find the problem). knock in the front end (they say that's normal).

when i need to fix the idle on the cummins, i adjust the screw. period.

enough said about the 12V... ... ...

you like that 24V till the lift pump goes out and you have to work on it and you don't have a snapon tool to diagnose the computer. . :)

My Lift pump problems are solved with an elaborate system.

I have a 30 micron Racor filter and water separator by the tank and then it goes to a 7# pusher with a one way bypass in case the pusher fails, it can pull around it... .

then to the stock pump, then to a "T" one leg goes to the filter, one to an adjustable Regulator with a bypass. The main leg of the reg. goes to the FP gauge sender. the bypass goes to an inlet on the Racor filter. SO, now even the pusher has a small head pressure so both pumps last well.

I now have better flow with a more consistant pressure. Normally you would have 14 psi idle 10 cruise and no less than 6 or 8 WOT. .

I have, with the benefit of the regulator, settings at

13 Idle (adjusted to that)

12 cruise

and no less than 10 WOT

I have had this sytem on for over a year now and no problems.
