Well I finally did it.

Tomorrow night I'm trading in the 98 chevy K1500 for a 98 Dodge 3500, 4x4, 5spd cummins with on 160K miles. I'm so excited I can hardly wait.

I'm sure I'll have a ton a questions of preventive maintenace stuff I need to do. I know I'll want to change all the fluids and filters. Then run a fuel pressure test.

Next the gooseneck will come out and the fifth wheel will go in.

What can I sell the old gooseneck for?

Should I keep the bully dog tourqe chip in?

It does have a exhuast temp gauge, that's a good thing.

With only 160K miles on it you still might need to break it in. ;) When you consider that you should get 1 million miles out of that CTD it is still just a kid. :D

Just make sure everything is good. Not trying to be a Jack A** but I've been there and done that. Make sure brakes are good, u-joints, tires, etc. At least evaluate these items into your cost.
