2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Improved A/C Performance

Just a FYI, removed my blower motor assembly from under the glove box today and the squirrel cage was almost full of leaves and other debris. After cleaning the junk out I almost doubled the amount of air flow from my a/c vents. If it seems that your a/c is not blowing like it once did you might want to check this out. Only 3 screws holding the blower in place took about 15 min. to complete.

A cab fresh filter will put an end to that. The only problem you CANT see is the condition of the evaporator. The coils themselves are prolly packed with crud.

Yep, I had the joy :{ of replacing my evaporator a few years back that was a bi**h of a job. After putting the dash back together I realized I forgot to connect the cable to the vent control so I had to take the dash apart (drop the steering column etc. ) twice. Knock on wood - I have not had any problems since.
