In cab air filter?

Does anyone know if there is a serviceable / changeable air filter for the HVAC system in the 2003, 2004 trucks?



I work at a site that will be under construction until 2009 or so. (lots of dust when its dry and lots of mud when it rains / snows)

Genos Filter works

I have it on my 02 3500 and it works better than not having one. I have some HEPA (I think that's what it's called) filter material I'm thinking of adding to the Genos to see if the increased filtering allows HVAC to operate w/out restriction.

Okay... . So there isn't a OEM there, but I can add an aftermarket one then?

I have been using one on my 04 for 6 months and it works well. I still get dust in the cab (not sure if it is coming through the door seals, window when it is down, or the vents) but the large particles have been cut down considerably (no more corn chaff during harvest). A hepa filter layer would be nice.

Also a word of caution the filter housing is not strong and the plastic clips can break easly during install and removal so follow directions carefully. I broke one and the filter no longer sits completely flat, however it has never fallen off even with one of the 4 clips broken.

When my filters need replacing I will probably buy another one, unless something better is available
