Heater or A/C Fan will go off while driving down the road.

If i twist the Heat-cold selector a little the fan will come on an most of the time stay on.

If it goes out I twist the selector switch again to make it work.

It looks like I need a new Heater-Air Controller so is Dodge the only place to get one or is there an after market supply of these things.

Thanks for your Time and Help.

Rex,

My blower motor was doing the same thing. One night I hit the top of the dash real good with my fist and it came back on. I figured it was the switch. This worked a couple of times and then it wouldn't work anymore. Then I started whacking the bottom of the blower motor under the dash with my ice scraper and it would come back on. I'm on my 3rd motor now, the original, then one from O'rielly's(bearings went out in 9 months), now a used factory one. I think now my resistor is going.

Anyway, long story for this, it may not be the fan switch, it may be your blower motor.

Good luck,

Scott

I have one in the basement laying around that I think will fit your truck. My brother in law pulled it from a salvage yard for me but it was the wrong model year. Give me your address and I'll mail it to you. You'll have to take the knobs off yours as these were already removed prior to me getting it.
