Finally got my backordered in-tank fuel pump/sending unit and will replace it tomorrow. Had a couple of questions related to the pressurized fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter in the engine compartment.
1) Is this fuel line pressurized with the ignition off?
2) If so, does letting some fuel out of the "water in fuel drain petcock" in the fuel filter housing release this pressure?
3) Finally, will the fuel line syphon or drain remaining fuel in this line back toward the tank once the fuel line is disconnected from the pump module at the tank?
Just trying to get a read on whether it will spray fuel if just disconnected...and once any pressure is relieved, will it continue to drain out of this disconnect line.
Thanks for any information you can provide...appreciate the help. Kevin
