I have 01 Dodge Ram with dealer installed in tank lift pump. Works fine (13 idle , 12 cruising, never goes below 7-7 lbs, ) all this is fine, but I feel it would not do for pulling load of 12k , like it is rated for. I have installed Vulcan big line kit between filter and vp 44 using 1/2 inch hose. Gained 1/2 lb pressure. I'd like to run 1/2 in hose from filter assemnly to intank module and see if this would help situation, keeping intank pump. But, I have never dropped a tank or even seen top of the module. What kind of fitting is there for the output of the pump? I'm sure 5/16 or 3/8 but are they simple barbed push lock type?
Any help with a way to connect my 1/2 in diameter fuel hose to I tank module greatly appreciated.

I took out intank pump because it could not keep up the pressure I needed. I then added a Vulcan Draw Straw to the empty module and run an AirDog pump and filter and 1/2" hose all the way to VP44. Kit had all the fittings needed.
I have the very early model of the AirDog and have not had any problems with it. I have a steady 16lbs pressure.

My intank pump continues to work fine. Just made 2000 mile trip pulling 15k fiber to Oklahoma and back from Ga. however , I have bed off my truck preparing to install CM flatbed. My intank pump has a little over 100k but still holds 12 psi idle and 9 cruising. This is fine, but it is tempting to replace it now with easy access.
Could someone suggest a particular intank pump for me, other than OEM. I'd like to see 16psi idle and 12 cruising, loaded .thevold adage keeps ringing in my ears"If it ain't broke,...........
Advice would be appreciated.
