It has been a few months now and the new in tank pump and new injection pump the dealer "HAD" to install is doing OK so far. Pressure seems low to me, average @ 8psi, but seems to be doing the job.

I will say that Moss Brs. Dodge (San bernardino, Ca. ) did not argue, but honored the warranty and did the job in one day.

Hope it lasts. :D

I am taking my 02 in for a new TQ converter and front pump and LP. They are probably going to put in the in-tank correct? is this wise or should I keep the one on the motor?

MSalvatore,

I second what JC said about the mods. They check past fueling parameters for trans problems and I can persoanlly tell you that they can find it in the ECM if they look. But then again hopefully you did not tap the wire with the UFM.

I gotta belive that if the OD solinoid (which went out on my truck) is a restricted part then the Torque Convertor surely is. Just prepare your self for the words Denial and Warranty Restriction! LOL

BTW I got denied for a EZ that hadnt been on my truck for almost a month. They showed me the print out from the diagnoistics and everything.

Keep us updated so we can see what happens.

I removed the UFM about a week before I took it to the dealer. They aproved the warenty already just waiting for the front pump to come in from back order. The dealer is pretty lenient about mod's. Should I have the in-tank done or leave it on the motor?

thank's,

Marc

I'm looking at a pusher pump to deal with the lack of pressure. It takes VERY LITTLE pedal to bring the FP down to ZERO. Never have to watch EGT's now as I run out of FP around 1000 degrees. Very disappointed in that respect.

For the record, I do have about 13K miles on the in-tank pump. Just got to keep an eagle eye of the fuel pressure guage to avoid the Zero situation!
