Well, here we go again. Truck back in shop (after having it in shop for a week waiting on parts) for cruise control not working correctly (buttons) or not at all. Have to use brake to kill cruise control. They have to replace the buttons, plus several other parts and also replace the clock ring which allow everything to work as the steering wheel is turned.

Also the fuel tank gauge goes to empty after 100 miles or so. Then I add enough fuel to give me about 18. 6 mpg. Fuel sender is on long term back order. They (dealer) seem to think sender unit is being re-designed. All this started after the connector block in the steering column was replaced last week. (the low beam would not work and wires were frayed) Everything is covered under warranty except clock ring which price started at about $70. 00 est. , but went up to $146. 12 when I was told that warranty would not cover the ring. I would have to pay.

Every thing worked fine up till steering column connector replacement. Called DC customer service phone line but of course closed Friday, open Monday. I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER.

All I could really get out of folks at Dodge dealer was "IT'S A DODGE". Seems several used to work at GM dealers.

Anyone have this type of problem before on cruise?

TIA
