This isnt diesel related,but I wanted everyone who's into drag racing to check this out. John Lingenfelter has done it again,this Vette is absolutely incredible, 7. 0 liters,twin turbos, 802Hp @ 4600RPM, 0-60 in 1. 97 seconds, 9. 28@150. 27 in the 1/4 mi:--) . Stack'd 'n' Jack'd sees him making test runs, from time to time, at a certain location near his facility in Indiana. So far, I've missed it every time. I'm big on Lingenfelter's magic, and especially love his 185 mph Camaros. He's got Callaway Corvettes beat, hands down.

Sweetest part of the deal? His engines are supposed to be reliable, near bulletproof. Haven't heard anything to the contrary, yet.

There is an identical set-up in a yellow Z0-6 on Long Island my brother e-mailed me pics as he knows the guy and has ridden in it- fully streetable- was timed at 240 mph on a deserted LI Parkway- package is yours for about $120,000 with the car- awesome set-up. MY brother is doing the video and pictures and they are going to try to get the car written up. Base engine is the LS1 supermotor that some morons on this site have trashed- it is bored out but the block is the same six bolt set-up as the stock piece- 427 ci is the new displacement:--)

Briar,your welcome,I still cant get over the 0-60 in under 2 secs and the trap speed,wow. I read that it also has a full 2 yr /24K powertrain warranty thru lingenfelter. I think i need one,what a sleeper.

I saw that car on one of the auto TV shows on Sunday, it raced a Blue Angeles F-15, outta the hole, the Corvete was faster,but after about 100 MPH... ... ... ... ... ... bye bye little car.
