Infinity Audio Upgrade Questions

I have a 2003 Ram with the Infinity stereo. I am currently spec'ing out a complete upgrade. I have a Hotbox sub enclosure (center console) that supports a 12" sub, and I have the factory NAV system that I want to keep. I ordered a PAC harness that gives 4 channel pre-outs off the factory deck, so I think I should be set there.



Currently I have on my list:

Diamond D661i 6. 5" components (front and rear doors)

Diamond D612D4 12" sub

Phoenix Gold R8. 0:4 4 channel amp for front/rears

Phoenix Gold R8. 0:1 Mono amp for sub



My question is what to do about the dash speakers. Are they worth using? Should I put the tweeter from the front component set in the dash? If I add a set 3 1/2" dash speakers, how do I power them? would I need a 6 channel amp? or another 2 channel? I am confused

i just left my dash speakers in imo they sound pretty good.
