2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Infinity front driver speaker question

my front speaker is not working, it has the built in amp on the side, Someone said in another thread that it is usually just the amp that goes bad. How do I know? And where should I find one, does anybody here have one laying around?

I have a set of the 6x9 infinity with the amp built in. They should be in good working order. I say this because I pulled them out when I bought my truck in 01. I used them for less than 1 month. Let me know if you need them.

Same problem, however, it turned out to be my head unit. Had some air fresh goop drip into the balance/fade "joystick" and lost the balance to the left. Ended up replacing head unit with Alpine unit so I could keep the speakers and steering wheel controls.

My tweeter and rear speaker work so I am thinking it is just the door speaker.

I think you are right. I had not tweeter or rear speaker. The entire left side was dead.
