Infinity w/6 Disc - Any fixes yet? - Updates??

Hello all,



Have been having trouble with a horrible sounding Infinity system (distorted base and very lousy sound even with bass turned all the way off). Have read many posts of wrong wiring harness's, reversed polarity, etc. Truck goes into the dealer on 1-3-05 for the 2nd time to try and address this. Just want to have the newest, latest & greatest info if anyone has had success in getting this fixed.

I pulled my stereo out hoping it had the reversed wires. Unfortunately it didn't and the sound still stinks. Same problem you have - I have to turn the treble all the way up and the base all the way down. Please post your results if you find out anything when you take yours into the dealer.

I put a whole new system in mine with a 5 channel amp, Sirius Indash from Kenwood and Memphis speakers front and rear plus the 2x10" subs in the rear underseat storage area. It sounds great now !!
