I will be doing a dyno soon, I did one in the past and with old 100hp jammers and a bad vp-44 and it was in 5th gear. . did this because my clutch was slipping in 5th gear trying to see at what rpm and power etc. . I havent since now I have mach 4's, smarty, fass 150 and a new vp. . So my question would be what would the best set up on my TST3 and smarty sw. . to yield the best dyno results... as you can tell Im not up to speed on dyno's but I will get there. . and if anyone out there that has simiular set up tell me what they had for hp and tq. thanks... \

okay thats fine for the gears what about TST 3 settings and smarty settings for this there has got to be others out there with this similiar set up.

I would unload the Smarty when you’re on the Dyno. It’s great on the street but you loose a few horses with everything maxed out on the Dyno. I lost around 20 Hp when I had the Smarty on #8 and again on #2 with the Comp on 5x5. Try it both ways and see. Might be different for you.

You loose with a comp but the TST doesn't do timing. Use the smarty on a odd setting to gain ~25HP.

okay that is what I was thinking and reading on older threads, I should see better power range on the dyno with this... now Im wondering if I should dyno in SW. 9 or 7 or 5. any actually dynos out there with this data. thanks

I've got a banks big hoss fueling box now that isn't adding much power, eventually I'd like to get a TST PM3 and a turbo. That should bring me an easy 450+.

Truck runs awesome with the smarty / jammer combo, the response is insane and smoke is manageable if needed. The stock turbo can support that combo even towing but if I add the banks EGT's skyrocket.

Thanks I will probley try TST level 9 and smarty 9 and then work down on the smarty I will have problem unlimited times to dyno so I think I will mess with my wastegate and bring it up to 45lbs and hopefully bracket what settings for what power range. I really would like to know my max though with all the money I have blown at least I can have a little brag. . thanks for the dyno graph. .

Some one already did a test on al levels. Dont remmeber who.

Best was with TST on 9 and Smarty on 3.

About 13hp better than any other setting.

Scott

thats the setting I was told to use for drag racing too(SW3+TST-7), but over that level(SW7+TST-7) I smoked the tires so maybe not true?
