Info. on the warn Trans4mer hitch?

Can anyone tell me about the unit? How well did it mount on truck? A good source to bye over the net or mail order? thanks

You didn't list what truck you have. I have the transformer winch mount setup. It went on with no problem if you read the instructions and follow them. Not sure what you mean about "hitch". See my list at the end of the post... Aloha Jim

I have the ttransformer winch mount. It was well engineered and went on o. k.
I have a 2x2 reciever underneath it. it is similar to one that you bolt on to the step on your back bumper, a Pep Boys item.

I also have the Warn Transformer setup in chrome. I have the M12000 winch & carrier assembly attached. Works like a charm. I've had to use it twice to pull out smaller trucks burried to the pumpkins in the sand dunes.

I also have the Warn Trans4mer winch mount with the brush and eye guards. I currently have the M 12,000 winch. I’ve used this setup several times. It’s a very capable setup. We have offices just down the way from Warn Industries. We work with their owners from time to time. They have a great operation and always have had a great product. IN fact, my wife’s company does their industrial chrome platting. I guess that makes me biased towards Warn. We’ve used their products for many years and on the one occasion I had a problem they walked me through the fix on the phone.

Thanks for all the info. I just wanted to check with those with experience before I buy. I hate buying things for my 2500 and then having to make mods. to make it work.
