When Ken Jones installed my ATS exh. man. , I wanted both my Di Pricol and Attitude pyro hooked up, so I could compare temps. He drilled and installed the thermocouple for the Di Pricol right above the turbo mount. , and drilled the little round raised portion on top of the man. for the Attitude thermocouple. Up to 800* they were within 5 to 10* of being the same, but the hotter the temps. the more they read different. At 1200* on the Dipricol, the Attitude showed 1105*. We switched positions of the thermocouples and it went the opposite. So the hottest position for the thermocouple is above the turbo, not the raised portion of the man. where you are supposed to mount it. Now I run the Attitude to 1200* and the Dipricol shows 1105*. Anyone else tried this?

I have my Auto meter egt coming off the 6th cylinder and the "other" one coming off the 4th cylinder. Mine differ at the higher the temps to. Around 400-600 they are off by 50 degrees and the higher temps they will be off by 100+ I thought it was just off because it runs hotter towards cylinder 6. . is this not right?

I put mine just above the turbo. Where is this "raised portion of the man. where you are supposed to mount it. "? I don't think I've heard of a place where we are supposed to mount it.

Thanks.

This raised round place is on the top of the ATS 2 piece man. , I was told it is for extra metal thickness for drilling and tapping for the thermocouple.
