Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) info

What is the difference between 12v and 24v oil pans. ? is the size shape and bolt patern the same? TIA

some one may freely shoot me down if it aint right, but I seem to remember the P/N stamped on dad's ol' 94 was the same as the one in my 98. 5. But its just a "seem" and his old trucks gone now.
