I am thinking about getting an EZ, and am puzzeled, as to just where the 3 plugs hook up to:( :( :( . I do not want ot mess with the void stickers, and from what I've read here, the EZ does not do this. The truck runs good, with fuel milage running from 17 in town, to 20-22 on the road (if I keep my foot out out of it:) :) :) . However, I cannot just leave things alone and have to play around with my toys. Any help will really be appreciated. Thanks

The EZ is a piece of cake to hook up. The directions that come with it are great. There are only two connections to make, one to the map sensor and one to the data link. Both connections are just plugs, the map sensor plug is a pass through and the data link is just a straight plug in.

I warn you though, BOMBing your truck is very addictive... . just look at my signature... when I started I just wanted a little more power. .

EZ Hookup is , well EZ

B Matlock, the hardest part is locating the two plugs. Then [for me] kneeling on the fender/hood /engine compartment edge, and leaning over the engine to make the hookups.

The MAP sensor is just to the rear of the fuel filter, and that is the pasthrough connector, then on my truck the other connector was behind the fuel filter, and slightly in front. This requires just removing the factory dirt/corrosion plug [save it] and plug in the EZ connector.

Then, give in to the kid in you, skip the boost elbow mod [for now], and take it for a drive!!

The new throttle response, and smoothness is amazing, and wait until you go to pass someone on the freeway! You'll go looking for people to pass!!

Warning, as mentioned above, this is addictive!!

But way too much fun to pass up!!

enjoy! Greg L

I'm interested in this too!

I noticed at smokin diesel that the 3 stage ez is 529. 00 vs. the ez at 549. 00.

I would think the 3 stage is better.

Is anyone running the 3 stage? Does it mount in the cab with a 3 position switch?

Stage 3

I'm pretty sure I'm correct about this, but check at smokingdiesel.com to be sure. Or with Edge Products.

The EZ is the only box by Edge products that is stealth, and therefore has no tattletale signs if you remove it to take the truck in for warrantee work. [True plug and play]

The stage three has a pump wire connector, as well as the Edge Comp box. This leaves a mark on the injection pump wire, and the techs at dealerships are trained to look for this in order to invalidate your warrantee.

Again check this info before you purchase anything, Andy or Doug at ADT will answer your questions.

I hope this helps, Greg L

Matlock, you'll like the EZ. You could see a mileage increase if you drive semi-normal.

The install is very simple and the instructions are good. Plus, plenty of guys here on the TDR are more than ready to help out if need be.

BMatlock, the combo of the Edge EZ and the ETH is perfect together. Just reinforcing what was already stated. If you don't see the data plug by the fuel filter, look by the power steering pump. That's where mine is located.

The EZ rocks!!!

Plain and simple from install (with Fred's gracious telephone assistance) to driving.

I can't live without it.

Hey Fred, how much were those injectors???
