Today my truck is finally back on the road after almost a month down. I've got about 20 miles on it so far.
It does run hotter. I don't currently have my box on, but a long 6th gear pull to the speed limiter will yield 1380ish degrees pre-turbo. This is very close to what I would hit with the L1 on the quad with the HTBG. I'll have a better idea on mileage, but right now the OHC is showing high 16's after a hard 20 miles. Overall power is pretty damn nice. It feels like somewhere between the 60hp and 100hp settings on my box, so I'm curious how it will run with the box on. Spool up is pretty quick, maybe a touch over what the HTBG was. But man does this turbo sing when you drill it. Seems to hit harder and pull a lot harder.
Cruising at 75mph I was at a consistent 850*
Smokes a bit more than it has before, but cleans up real fast. Overall pretty happy, other than the prices
