I am new to the site, but what brought me here is trying to find a preformance injection pump for my 2001 ctd. I have looked everywhere and searched everywhere, I dont know if I am just not looking in the right spot or something else. If you could please give me a link or some information, be greatly appreciated

Some of the guys are running whats called a "Hotrod" pump. Don't know where or who makes them, but maybe you could run a search.

I run the Scheids pump on my 99 24v. The website doesnt give you alot of info, but a phone call to Dan @ Scheids Terre Haute shop and bolting it on the truck more than makes up for it. I had the pump switched as an upgrade rather than replacing a dead or dying VP. My only regret is not dynoing beforehand because the gain is comparable to turning my FMS box on with the stock VP. This is just my experience with my truck. Good luck with your search... ..... Chris

Clarification

In my post earlier I didnt fully explain my scenario. I had a chance to upgrade pumps on my truck. I didnt remove a known good pump and turn it in for a core and spend close to $2000 for the gain. My VP had recently been replaced and it ended up on a truck that needed one. I brought up that fact earlier to further comment the strength "in my opinion" of the Scheid's pump. I was not driving a truck that had a high mileage or poorly performing pump. VP owners talk all the time about pump decline, I was able to compare this pump to a fresh VP and in my truck it was a big improvement... ... Chris

Well, I bought the truck first of september, then not knowing much I put the Edge Juice on, and of course hot roded around. The display read o Psi fuel pressure, but my transmission sensor didn't work either. So, I took it to edge and got the transmission senor fixed and fuel pressure was still o Psi. I was just thinknig that the fuel sensor was broke. I still had black stuff coming out the back so I had to be getting fuel. now whats crazy I went two months of driving around with 0 psi, when I started to get dead throttle or enigne cutting out. I immediatly put on the FASS pump. Now the fuel pressure reads 18 psi, so it wasn't broke.

So two months of o psi fuel pressure would pretty much wipe out the injection pump... but its still running strong, I just need to be prepared for when it does fall on it's face.

thanx for the help guys
