Injection pump noise.

I have insulated the valve cover and it cut down the noise considerably, i also insulated the injection pump and that cut the noise the most but i am wondering if maybe its not a good idea to insulate the pump due to heat, any thoughts. 2001 auto,4x4,extended cab.

I like the noise, part of the reason I bought the truck. But I would not think that it would be a good idea to insulate the pump. If it was Dodge would of done it because a lot of people don't like noise.

Maybe someone should build a box to cover the inj pump, with a mini evaporator attached to the a/c

Innovative Doc! I think that it should have its own system with a 100% efficient refrigerant compressor driven by a perpetual motion machine that is suspended from a skyhook.
