I have a Massey Ferguson 383 that I think the metering valve is sticking in the injection pump. Sometimes it won't start and I can tap on the inj. pump and it will start. Also, the low rpm governer is not working right. I have to keep it reved up to keep it from stumbling when I let out on the clutch. I bought this tractor new and it has 2800+ hours on it. I have never had a problem with any thing on it. I have been told to put some ATF in the fuel. I have not. I have put PowerService diesel additive in it for the last month and it hasn't helped.

I am open to suggistions. Is there anything I can do to keep from taking the injector pump off and having it rebuilt? Thanks.
