injection pump

My friend truck quit a mile in front of my house. Turned out to be his injection pump. Water killed it. So I installed another pump he found a few weeks later. I will say those injection lines gave me a rough time. After pulling the fuel tank and rewiring the back end where my dogs chowed up the wiring on the flat bed I had a long day along with installing the injection pump.

But the truck did run good after it was done. Made me wish even more I had a standard instead of a automatic. It is a very clean, red, one ton. I did not know that the first generation would run that good.

I did it for free. But I will say I did not enjoy it. I was think all along this is not fun. . Jim

thanks Bob as I have a huge respect for what you do. The fellow is a good guy and a member of our church and is on the sheriff department. He was on the way to church down the road from me when it quit. What else could I do. I was going to fix the truck come heck or high water.

I intend in getting up that way if I can ever get my wife well enough. Say hello to Peirs is you see him. I am not a huge fan of automatics, I met Bill and Stefan also and I was impressed with them also. good luck Jim
