Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Injector Advice for sled pulling combo

I am building my truck this spring/summer to sled pull.

It will also be a daily driver.

I plan to throw a Sled Puller 66 turbo on along with the needed transmission updates & 4k gsk kit, etc.



I'm looking to have Scheids set me up with a set of injectors, but I'm looking for more than just a 100HP gain.

I'm thinking a set of "off the shelf" injectors isn't going to give me the amount of fuel I want.

I'm not dead set on running Scheid's injectors, but have had good luck with them in the past, so I figured I'd probably stick with them.



Does anyone have any suggestions on what hole sizes I should run?



I also saw someone mention 7 hole injectors on a different forum. .

Is that feasible or not the norm?

I'm looking for something that would be capable of 550+ RWHP with the correct supporting modifications.

Contact Brady @ industrial injection. He can put together just about anything you want.

Without going to a custom tip, and I don't know many that are doing this on a 12 valve, adding more holes to the tip is not a feasible option IMHO.



I agree, the guys at II could build you a set of big sticks that would work out well for you.

I am considering a set of Dynomite Diesel Stage 4 injectors. . Any opinions on these?

DDP 4's are a very nice set of injectors. Cleaner and more HP than 370's.

You better get that turbo upgraded to a Sled Puller 66

i know. i was talking to brady last night about coverting to a sps66. aperently there not very similer. ill have to go the other route and call htt. i know a guy that has some 370's that don m modified for him. hes a hair under 500hp with an hx40.

You can't go wrong with Scheid's. II can't hold a candle to Scheid.

Edit: if you want more than 100hp, tell them. Tell them what you want. All of their stuff is custom made, no off the shelf sticks.

I don't know what availability is like, but I know Jeff Garmon's 370 based injectors will support 800+ hp with the right air and everything else.

I talked to Chris today. . he priced me out some 5 x . 013 hole injectors. Said they flow a bit more than the 370s but have correct spray angles.

I have a set of Don M modified 370s in right now, no dyno runs on them yet, but they certainly feel pretty strong! We shall see in a few weeks how they are!
