I dont want to make anyone mad or anything, but I do not think it is worth the money to buy injectors. My friend has a 12 valve and is running 400 hp with the stock injectors, also another guy i know has the same thing but the pump isnt cranked like the other guy. I just think it is wise to save yourself 500 bucks and keep the stock ones.

Your posting 12v "experience" in the 24v forum. Its a whole different ballgame, you can't just crank up the pump on the VP44 like you can on the P7100. Injector swaps are fun and provide more power by themselves... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... hardly "not worth the money", but then again I am about the 8th set of injectors in my truck.

injectors open the door (literally) to a realm of high horsepower. Those mach 6's must flow like a garden hose.

That's not "advice". That's an opinion... and we all know what they say about opinions... So, 400HP in a 12V with stock injectors? Allow me to be the first to call B. S... Unless, of course, he's running a triple-turbo setup and a custom-built race-only fuel pump with NOS, propane, and water/meth. Then I'd buy it. Or you show me a dyno sheet. Then I'd shut up.

Well, try telling that to my stock clutch that slipped for the first time the same day the DD2's went in. What's noteworthy about that is the clutch slipped running empty - it had never slipped before even when towing our 13,500 lb 5th wheel. Looks like those injectors were doing something (see torque readings on this very mild old trailer puller in signature).

I would believe you if you said crank HP on the coast. 0' elev.

Oh Man

275's to 85 HP EDM's :D I paid $700 and couldn't be happier... actually $800, I didn't return any cores!

If I could only deal with the smoke of the M3. 5's at this altitude. .

Hey darkhose, do you still have your stock clutch? If so how well is it holding up, I want injector but can't afford a clutch.

Yup, still got the stock clutch. It's doing fine because I learned real quick to keep my right foot from going all the way to the floor. The EZ with 1. 5's would slip the clutch at about 1500 rpm with full throttle.

Maybe he has it backwards. You dont need a box to make 400hp cuz I did 432hp without a box the last time I dynoed that way. My 04. 5 made over 400hp on injectors only too.
