Injector Chatter...

Ive noticed some chatter recently and think its my injectors.



During normal acceleration I hear it, tictictictictic, and as I the skinny peddle goes further down it will quickly go away and the truck will accelerate hard. Before spool tictic, turbo lights it goes away.



Anyone know if this is the injectors, or what causes injectors to sound this way? Is it harmful?



Current Smarty settings are TM 1, Timming 3, SW 1.



Setup: DDP 90hp injectors, ATS Dual CP3.

did you just install your 90hp injectors? if you did then check all the bolts on the blue rubber pads holding your injector lines.

I guess so. We never ran it when it was stock. Ill check the lines. Thanks.

I don't know if it is my imagination, but i also have been hearing it every so often. Sorry i don't have any ideas for you, but i am also curious to hear some suggestions on this subject.

crank the timing back to default and watch the temp guage drop. Unless the timing is that much of a worry. Try software 3 too.

Ok. The only reason I had it on 3 is because the sheet says for aftermarket injectors use Timing 3. I've been playing with tons of different combos to try and find what works best for DD'ing.



Part of my temp/smoke issue is the 48re and primary turbo dont seem to be having a good relation ship at the moment.
