I see some members are running BD 180hp injectors. What is the difference between these and pw injectors. Are pw,s also considered 180 hp? Which flow more juice?

I don't know what the hp ratings are for the pw's but the injectors that flow the most fuel for the first gens as far as I know are the Lucas injectors also known as the old blue specials. for the older first gens , (89,90, and possibly some of the 91's) these are the only injectors I know of that will give you more fuel. The older first gens came stock with 9mm injectors and people who tried the PW's noticed a decrease in power. The lucas injectors are marine injectors rated at 300 HP. Unless there is something new on the market that I am not aware of these are your best choice. Do a search on Big Don. He can fix you up with a set of these injectors. Hpoe this helps.

I have the BD injectors & would agree w/ Matt S's statemant about them being similar for our First Gens. Also, Ted Jannetty has mentioned that the BD & JRE injectors are similar. I have the BD's & the 'girl' has JRE's in her truck... Her's is consistantly fast than mine. :( Injectors? Who knows... .

I haven't compared any P/N's to confirm any of this though.

If I had to do it over again I would be over in the Lucas Camp... :D

Jealous

Hey KEENO, everything in Camp Lucas is great, I just wish that I had a truck like yours to add to mine. That big extended cab, dually gets lonely. He needs a nice '92 or '93 4x4, 5sp, regular cab Cummins to have around, know where I can find one for sale?

Hey Dieselman359!

I don't know of any regular cab W250 for sale out there but I'll keep on the lookout for you. Deere4020 is trying to sell his immaculate W350 dually and I wish I could purchase it to keep W250 company but I'm still a little cash poor after having to purchase the NVG unexpectedly while on vacation.

We plan on keeping our trucks indefinitely! :D
